Vancouver east houses

Attached please find the latest statistics from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

The News Release heralds March 2016 as the highest selling month EVER for the REBGV.

 Last month compared to the previous March Metro Vancouver residential sales are up 27.4 percent. The supply of detached, attached and apartment homes continues to lag behind demand so although the inventory of new listings last month is 5.2 percent higher than March 2015, the total inventory of listed properties is down by 40.5 percent year to year. Composite value is up 23.2 percent March to March.

The graph presents a small regression in the average price for Greater Vancouver detached properties, now down 1.8 percent from February to March. The benchmark price for detached houses last month compared to March 2015 is up 27.4 percent. The volume of house sales rises by 24.8 percent year to year.

East side detached house prices in March 2016 record a 26.9 percent increase over the previous March. Year to year Vancouver east house sales dip down 1.4 percent. March to March inventory is 2.6 percent higher.

Last month compared to February 2016 east side house sales register an increase of 24 percent. Month to month inventory is 19.1 percent higher.
