Vancouver East Houses

Attached please find the latest statistics from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

The News Release extols April 2016 as the highest selling April on record.

 Last month compared to the previous April Metro Vancouver residential sales climb 14.4 percent. Unprecedented and intense demand for detached, attached and apartment homes continues to quickly outstrip supply so that although the inventory of new listings last month is 3.9 percent higher than April 2015, the total inventory of listed properties is down by 39.3 percent year to year. Composite value is up 25.3 percent April to April.

The graph illustrates a rebound in the average price for Greater Vancouver detached properties, now up 1.9 percent from March to April. The benchmark price for detached houses last month compared to April 2015 is up 30.1 percent. The volume of house sales rises by 9 percent year to year.

East side detached house prices in April 2016 record a 28.6 percent increase over the previous April. Year to year Vancouver east house sales drop off by 18.1 percent. April to April inventory is 4.2 percent higher.

Last month compared to March 2016 east side house sales register a decrease of 13 percent. Month to month inventory is 3.9 percent lower.
