Vancouver West Townhomes

June 2016 statistics
Attached please find the latest statistics from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

The News Release notes that March through June in Greater Vancouver more homes have been listed for sale than in any other four month period since 2010. Never the less, supply does not balance with demand and Buyers continue competing to become owners. New listings of all property types increase 1.2 percent year to year but the total inventory of listed properties is down by 35.9 percent last month compared to June 2015. Metro Vancouver residential sales rise 0.6 percent year to year. Composite value is up 32.1 percent June to June.

The graph shows a 0.9 percent decrease for the average price of attached units in Greater Vancouver in June 2016 compared to this May. Last month compared to June 2015 the benchmark price for a townhome rises 28.1 percent. Attached unit sales improve year to year by 7.2 percent.

Last month versus June 2015 Vancouver west townhouse prices increase by 35.6 percent. In June 2016 attached unit sales are 7.9 percent below the previous June. Year to year inventory is 6.6 percent higher.

From May to June west side attached sales show an 8 percent decrease. Month to month Vancouver west attached inventory increases by 3.7 percent.
